By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them and indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ. --Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1499

Funeral and Memorial Masses:
At St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church we want to journey with you during the difficult time when your loved one passes away. As members of one Body and one Family in Christ, we have the privilege, as well as the sacred duty, to pray for the repose of the souls of your family members and friends. We also are united with you in solidarity praying that God may bring you peace and comfort. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, even a funeral or memorial mass, is first and foremost an act of worship to the Most Blessed Trinity. We want to offer God a beautiful, respectful, and worthy act of adoration. Our regular funeral times are 10 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday.
Please, do not set a date or time with the funeral home until you contact our parish office. We need first to be certain that the church and the priest are available.
For more information, please call the office.
